Though Valentine’s Day has come and gone, you can still add some zest to your love life. To get in the mood for some hanky panky, try feasting on some foods that will jumpstart your sex drive. Here are three passion-inducing items to add to your grocery list, along with a sexy side salad recipe that will be sure to satisfy both of you (in more ways than one!).

1. Celery

Whip Up Some Passion With Our Sexy Salad Recipe-celeryIf you want to make your guy more irresistible to you, feed him a salad packed full of celery. Raw celery contains a male hormone called androsterone , which acts as a pheromone and increases your attraction.

2. Flax seed

Flax seed is an excellent source of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, which are essential building blocks for sex hormones. In addition, flax contains testosterone which can help boost your libido.

3. Ginger

If you want to arouse your senses, try making a homemade salad dressing that contains ginger. Ginger can increase blood flow and improve circulation, which may help to bring more blood flow to the genitals, increasing sexual desire.

Sexy Salad Ingredients:

  • 2 cups romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • ¼ cup sliced red onion
  • ¼ cup chopped celery
  • ¼ cup sliced carrot
  • 4 small cherry tomatoes

Directions: Mix together spinach and lettuce. Sprinkle onions, carrots, celery and tomatoes evenly on top. Serve chilled.

  • 1 tsp minced ginger root
  • ¼ tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbs rice vinegar
  • 1 Tbs soy sauce
  • 3 Tbs water
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 Tbs flax seeds

Directions: Mix together garlic, ginger, oil, honey, and flax. Add in liquid ingredients water, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix until a smooth liquid and top on salad. If you desire a thinner dressing, add water as desired.
